"I’ve eaten a lot of dumplings in my life and I was very impressed by the creativity of ingredients in the dumplings I tried here. I had the Melbourne, the Mackerel and the Dill-icious and loved all of them. Excellent flavor and perfectly cooked! I could taste all the ingredients they listed- amazing balance. I also loved the enoki mushroom salad! The restaurant was located in a small space in an alleyway. I would definitely come back the next time I am visiting Melbourne!"

"Wow, what a great little (25 peeps max)restaurant ShanDong is. Here by my self and loved everything. From sitting down and watching/listening to some ladys on a food tour, just loving what they were eating. I already ordered but next time ill get the mackerel dumplings as they are the signature dish so I hear. They loved it! I got some pork and prawn siu mai (what ever that means) and D8- Melbourne. Witch is calamari, chicken, lemon, parsley and garlic. Can't pick witch one i like more cause both were so good. All for less than 30bucks and I'm full. Im looking forward to coming with more people so I can try more in one go. Will definitely be back"

"Their Spanish mackerel dumplings (pot stickers) is rated one of the best all around the world and also in Melbourne. This speaks volume about the food and how busy it is. They also offer frozen dumplings for take away and you can cook and have it when you want to. There are 2 branches in Melbourne. The mini seats about 12 people inside and there are a couple of tables outside. Also try their wagu beef dumplings."

"We ordered the pork and the mackerel dumpling, and they were sooooo juicy! My partner and I really liked it! Keep in mind that the place can get busy and the tables are quite close to each other."
